Why PAT Test?

Electrical equipment which is used by employees or members of the public eg. offices or rented properties, should be maintained to fulfil the legal requirement that it is safe.
Portable Appliance Testing (or PAT Testing) is a process that checks equipment, which plugs into a wall outlet to help ensure that it is safe therefore reducing the risk of fire or electric shock. If you do not maintain your electrical appliances properly your insurance provider may not provide cover.
A Test involves a visual inspection and specialist equipment is used for an Earth Continuity Test and Insulation Resistance Test. Results for each item is recorded and presented as a report.
